If you've been keeping up with Kia news via auto sources such as our blog, you may recall that Kia's dazzled us with DC comics designs of the seven Justice League superheroes (for those who are unsure, those heroes include Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and Cyborg) on new Kia vehicles we already rave about.
Let's take it back 10 months. The incentive for this awesome idea stems from Kia's partnership with Super Street magazine and D.C. to bring to light a special campaign known as the "We Can Be Heroes" campaign. Funds and awareness are used to alleviate those in the Cape Horn region of Africa of the famine and drought they suffer in their daily lives. At the conclusion of this tour, Kia will auction off the customized cars for charity.
The customized vehicles made their debut at Comic-Cons, and they had a stellar presence at auto shows across the nation. Just as dramatic as the stories behind the heroes, Kia is going out with a bang. The whole Justice League has joined together and made a breathtaking presence on a good choice of a canvas: the 2014 Kia Sorento.
