Kia never fails to impress us, but we have news that never gets old: record monthly sales. It's testimony of the hard work of our production workers, the work of the enthusiastic dealers who share these beauties with the rest of the community, and, of course, it's testimony of how well our Kia customers are having their needs delivered. The month of May reflected just that.
The South Korean automaker reported its best-ever May sales of 52,327 units. The U.S. built Optima took the lead with 15,368 units sold for the 18th consecutive month. The Sorento CUV accounted for 9,182 units, and, combined with the Optima, the vehicles make up more than 40 percent of Kia sales. Another big hitter was the Soul which had 11,420 customers leaving showrooms happily with a new car.Throughout this year, Kia is also introducing seven 2014 all-new and redesigned vehicles to showrooms, including the Forte and the Cadenza Byung Mo Ahn, group president and CEO of Mia Motors America and Kita Motors Manufacturing Georgia has much to say of these two vehicles:
"At Kia, we are committed to advancing value to new levels of sophistication, and you can see the standout results in the all-new Cadenza, which is the most powerful and technologically-advanced Kia ever in the U.S. market, as well as the 2014 Forte which Motor Trend recently crowned the winner of a head-to-head compact sedan comparison test with some of the industry's most well-known nameplates," she says.1
As much as we at Barnett Kia like the company of our impressive lineup here in the White Bear, MN showroom, it means more to use when we talk about it with you and hear your personal testimony after a test drive. Stop by at your own convenience!
