Before we enter June, we have some news for you.
There's a reason why our new models are leaving showrooms across the nation: people want Kia, and they wanted it this April more than any other April. Earlier this month, the automaker announced that it achieved its best-ever April sales of 47,556 units.
To break it down, U.S. built Kia Optima midsize sedan was leader in sales for the 17th consecutive month with 14,678 units sold. Additionally, Sorento CUV contributed to April's success by pulling in almost half of total sales. Also, 11,311 customers must be pretty pleased with their Soul urban passenger this past month.
Moreover, the 2014 Forte and the 2014 Cadenza are among two of the seven newly redesigned or all-new vehicles to enter production this year.
It's truly exciting to watch Kia's growth over the years. After all, the company is only one of three brands that exemplified growth in U.S. sales over the past four years. Kia is advancing at a rapid pace, bringing new levels of sophistication, European influences, and enhanced technology--it's no wonder it made its 500,000 unit mark for the first time in 2012. Kia's achieved "Top 100 Best Global Brands" status and has invested over $1.4 billion in the U.S. in the past decade. Barnett Kia couldn't be any prouder to be a part of this positive and constant change.
