The full-size Sedan.
It's the dream car for every commuting businessman, family-toting parent and luxury seeker alike.
Kia's 2014 Cadenza is no exception.
The second version to be released in the U.S. is already receiving rave reviews as it was named Motor Trend's top Full-Size Sedan for 2014.
"A huge value proposition, solid fuel efficiency, near-luxury ride and pretty sheet metal make the Kia our near-unanimous choice for first place," said Motor Trend's Rory Jurnecka. "Despite its large exterior dimensions, the Kia drove like a much smaller car than it really is."
What makes this Kia particularly special? Motor Trend's Associate online editor Nate Martinez believes it's the ride and handling that makes the vehicle stand out from the pack. "It's extremely smooth, well-sorted and amazingly comfortable," said Martinez. "It really rides small."
Highly rated for performance and safety as well, the Cadenza continues to make strides. "The Kia impressed with its eager 3.3-liter mill and paddle-shiftable six-speed auto," said Jurnecka. "Though only midpack on output with 293 HP on tap, the Kia tied for second-quickest quarter-mile time with the most powerful car in the group."
All of these features coupled with an excellent Highway Miles Per Gallon rating of 28, helped position the Cadenza as Motor Trend's top sedan for 2014. "While the Kia wasn't the best in every category, it was strong in those that make the most difference: ride comfort, interior space, and fuel economy," said Jurnecka. "It has a features list that could rival an $80K BMW's and value that places it above its full-size brethren. For those reasons, the Kia Cadenza is our full-size champ."
So, head over to Barnett Kia in White Bear Lake, MN and try out Motor Trend's best Full-Size Sedan for 2014, the New Kia Cadenza.
