Following the announcement of the 2015 Charger and Challenger debuting April 17 at the New York International Auto Show, Chrysler followed up shortly after with an exterior teaser shot of the Charger.
"Those-in-the-know" have said the vehicle, which Chrysler has kept the details of to a minimum, appears to have redesigned LED headlamps and looks smoother than the current model.
"The new Charger receives a full-body makeover with nearly every single body panel being resculpted," said Chrysler in a press release.
Chrysler also released a shot of the Challenger – an interior photo of the vehicle's instrument cluster with its new logo.
The 2015 Challenger brings to its drivers a new powertrain combination, Chrysler said, which noted that the 100th birthday of the original Dodge Brothers brand is this summer.
"Inspired by the classic Dodge Challenger, the iconic muscle car is new from the inside out for 2015 and features a new powertrain combination that is sure to get enthusiasts 'abuzz,'" said Chrysler.
And don’t forget about Kia.
Frankly, Kia won't give you a chance to forget. Not with a teaser of their own.
Kia offered a photo this past week of the "an all-new midsize multi-purpose vehicle" that it will unveil at the New York Auto Show later this month.
Again, "those-in-the-know" believe the description appears to be Kia's code for "our new minivan."
"This global debut will challenge the segment and will offer the functionality to transport as many as eight passengers and their belongings while also serving as a purposeful offering for adventure seekers," Kia said in a statement.
It appears to be going for a sportier look in front with a big version of the Kia signature grille shape and LED running lights. It's also a more upscale look than the Sedona, so we'd guess Kia wants to compete in this market on more than price.
