Kia Popularity Means a Monster Year

If you're liking what you see and hear about Kia, you aren't alone. The auto buying public has noticed all the good things, too.

For the past two decades Kia has been continually improving and innovating, all leading to a rise in popularity and prestige. And the direction Kia is headed now appears to still be up.

Spectacularly so.

Last week Kia Motors America announced its best-ever third quarter sales. September sales were up 6.9 percent, as were year-to-date sales.

This followed the best first-half performance in company history. The momentum of the initial six months continued, leading to those record third-quarter sales, including 40,628 units in September. As Kia celebrates its 20th anniversary in the U.S., the fast-moving brand continues to grow and mature and its aggressive new product cadence continues with important new vehicles like the all-new 2015 Sedona.

Michael Sprague, Kia Motors America's executive vice president of sales and marketing, said, "September capped off the strongest summer selling season for Kia in its 20-year history, and with the launch of all-new vehicles now underway, we continue to introduce the brand and our outstanding products to new customers who turn to Kia for our world-class quality and design, advanced technology and tremendous value."
